Local favorite trio HydraFX will be playing a free concert as part of the June 7th First Friday event in partnership with the Leonardtown Summer Music Festival! Included in this promised-to-be-electrifying musical performance will be a mix of both cover and original songs, often featuring a unique blend of rock/reggae amidst the blend of familiar tunes. Join musicians Greg Barrick, Scott Barber, and Derik Rotton for their appearance at The Square!

Sign up your child(ren) for a fun interactive art project while parents enjoy an evening out on the town! Drop N’ Dine openings are available for youth between the ages of 5 and 12, advance sign-up required, fee is only $10 per child for up to three hours of supervised artistic project participation.
“Extended” First Friday hours will include the return of the SoMar Drummers and the audience participation Drum Circle at St. Mary’s County Arts Council, 22660 Washington St from 8-9 PM. Open to all skill levels and ages, percussion instruments will be available for use or bring your own. Throughout town art studios, shops, and restaurants will be open from 5-8 PM with several galleries hosting Opening Receptions for their new shows and featured artists.
Merchants will be open late and offering one-evening only specials, many with “crabby themes” designed for this evening’s event.
