How lucky can you be to have an opportunity to catch a rare appearance of this amazing trio right here in Southern Maryland? A subset of the Baltimore-based band The Remainders, the Lucky Few have been booked a year in advance (yes, they are THAT popular!) to come join us for one of if not THE most popular events of this year – “Rockin’ First Friday” on August 4th in Leonardtown, Maryland!
Taking the stage in the Downtown Arts & Entertainment District from 6 to 8 pm will be the larger-than-life musicians Tony Waddy on guitar and vocals, Joe Parsons on drums and vocals (you may also recall him playing the tent, stage, and anything else within seated or standing reach of the drum sticks last year), and the multi-talented Paul Krysiak on bass, keyboards, and vocals.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on or stand up and dance, either way head on down to Leonardtown for the launch of an exciting weekend (did someone say Beach Party on Saturday…?!). Join us for dinner at one of our many restaurants and eateries followed by shopping and a visit to the local art galleries. Our free family and pet-friendly Outdoor Concert Series on The Square will start at 6 pm sharp.
Check out the Leonardtown First Fridays page on Facebook for additional details including the FREE photo booth with Southern Maryland Entertainment at Heritage Chocolates and also for info about the audience participation Drum Circle with the SoMar Drummers to follow from 8 -10 pm. We look forward to seeing you soon, make Leonardtown your very own “Special Place to Be” every First Friday!
